It looks as though there is a ghost appearing in the middle of this photo at the ceremony celebrating the restoration of the historic Altamont train station. In fact, Mr. Runion airbrushed out fellow board member Mark Grimm so it would appear Grimm did not participate.
Below is the scene as it appeared in the local newspaper, the Altamont Enterprise:
Good naturedly, Grimm said, “At least I’ll know what to be for Halloween this year.”
All kidding aside for a moment, Mr. Runion’s pettiness is a another troubling example of his pattern of bizarre behavior when his focus should be on addressing the many challenges the town faces, including the town’s looming budget crisis.
